B. Edward Ewing
Chairman
Mr. Ewing is the founder and Chairman of Ewing Management Group (EMG), providing strategic guidance for investment activities based on over 40 years of management experience. Mr. Ewing is typically the largest individual investor in any transaction, demonstrating his personal commitment and confidence in EMG's investment philosophy and track record. Mr. Ewing currently serves as Chairman of Key Plastics and a Director of Dohow Chemical and Senhe Horticulture. Mr. Ewing previously served as Chairman and CEO of Key Safety Systems and CEO of Key Plastics, The Aerostructures Corporation and United States Marine Repair.
Prior to the formation of EMG, Mr. Ewing served in a similar role as CEO of Carlyle Management Group.
Previously, Mr. Ewing served as Corporate Vice President of Operations for Lockheed Martin (LM). Prior to his five years with LM, he was a Corporate Officer with General Dynamics (GD). In his 15 years with GD, Mr. Ewing served as Vice President-Manufacturing of the F-16 Fighter and M-1 Tank Programs, Vice President and Program Manager of the M1A1 Tank Program and Corporate Vice President of Manufacturing and Engineering. Earlier, Mr. Ewing worked with International Harvester where he advanced through a number of management positions in engineering, manufacturing and material in the North American Truck Group.
Over 40 years of business experience, Mr. Ewing is best known for his management style, motivational skills and ability to deliver results. Mr. Ewing is past chairman of the Leukemia Society of America and often speaks to organizations and business school students on the subject of "Value Creation." Mr. Ewing founded Ewing Properties over 40 years ago, focusing on rental property development in mid-western states, and continues today as it's Chairman, President and CEO, and majority shareholder.
