
Douglas G. Nyhoff
Executive Vice President
Mr. Nyhoff is Executive Vice President of
Ewing Management Group (EMG). With $1B of available capital,
EMG focuses on acquiring and managing underperforming companies
in a broad range of industries around the world. Mr. Nyhoff
is responsible for leading and directing the operations of EMG
portfolio companies, working closely with company management
and where needed assuming management leadership positions.
In addition, Mr. Nyhoff is responsible for EMG's Asian activities. Mr. Nyhoff
currently serves as the CEO of the Key Automotive Group affiliated companies and is on the Board of Directors of Key Safety System, Inc.
Mr. Nyhoff previously served as President and Chief Operating Officer of
Key Safety Systems, Key Plastics Europe, and The Aerostructures Corporation.
Prior to the formation of EMG, Mr. Nyhoff
served in a similar role as Senior Vice President of Carlyle
Management Group.
Previously, Mr. Nyhoff was a Partner at Bain
& Company where he worked in various industries including
aerospace, defense, HVAC, oil and gas, financial services, telecommunications,
health care, retail and miscellaneous industrial products. He
advised clients in developing corporate portfolio and business
unit strategies, merging and consolidating businesses, controlling
costs, optimizing distribution channels, reengineering core
processes and evaluating market entry opportunities. Before
Bain, Mr. Nyhoff worked at Ernst & Young as a merger and
acquisition consultant and audit senior.
Mr. Nyhoff holds an M.B.A. from Harvard
Business School, a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University
of Calgary and is a former member of the Institute of Chartered
Accountants of Alberta.
