Steven Colder
Vice President

Mr. Colder has worked with Ewing Management Group and its predecessor, Carlyle Management Group, since 2003, and he currently serves as a Vice President in the Business Engagement Group. Mr. Colder leads the Business Engagement efforts and is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, structuring, and financing new acquisitions.

Mr. Colder was previously with Aurora Capital Group, a Los Angeles based private equity firm with over $1.0 billion of capital under management. At Aurora, he was responsible for executing leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, and financial restructurings and providing direction to existing portfolio companies on strategic, operational, and financial issues. While at Aurora, Mr. Colder executed numerous domestic and international transactions in a broad range of industries including automotive, injection molding, and packaging.

Before that, Mr. Colder was with Bowles Hollowell Conner & Co., a middle market investment bank. While at BHC, Mr. Colder helped to structure and execute various merger and acquisition transactions in a variety of industries including aerospace, packaging, automotive, retailing, building products, and general manufacturing.

Mr. Colder graduated summa cum laude from James Madison University with a B.B.A. in Financial Engineering.
