Ms. Cai joined Ewing Management Group in 2005 as an Associate in the Strategy Group. Ms. Cai is responsible for evaluating Asian investments, developing business strategies and operational plans, and executing turnarounds of portfolio companies.

Prior to joining EMG, Ms. Cai served in the Business Development function at Otis Elevator, a subsidiary of United Technologies, where she was responsible for evaluating, consolidating and expanding the company’s operations in the Asia Pacific region. More specifically, she s uccessfully deployed the company’s multi-brand strategy through acquisitions and establishment of JVs to strengthen its business presence and increase market share in the area. She also led the integration efforts for acquired companies, as well as provided guidance to those entities on strategic, operational, and financial issues. While at Otis, Ms. Cai executed a range of transactions including ownership restructuring, add-on acquisitions, minority buyouts, and divestures.

Prior to that, Ms. Cai was a Financial Analyst at JPMorgan Chase in New York and then Hong Kong. While at JPM, Ms. Cai helped to structure and e xecute various merger and acquisition, and debt and equity financing transactions in a variety of industries including real estate, electronics, basic materials, and general manufacturing.

Ms. Cai graduated with honors from Leonard N. Stern School of Business of New York University with a B.S. in Finance.
